The organising committee for the Food and Well-being Fair (Salon de l’Alimentation et du Bien-être SAB Afrique) hosted a press conference on Monday, October 19, 2026, to unveil the program for the event’s upcoming third edition.Scheduled to take place from November 12 to 15, 2026, at the Star Land Hotel in Bonapriso, Douala, this year’s fair will center on the theme “Family Well-being.” Its primary objective is to cultivate a stronger culture of health, balanced nutrition, and wellness within local households. However, vision bearer Ingrid Ngoune, founder of D-Fit, SAB Afrique serves as a premier collaborative platform. It bridges the gap between healthcare professionals, industry experts, corporate entities, state institutions, and the general public. For Ngoune, the initiative is deeply personal. Having lost nearly 40 kilograms after her own battle with obesity, she created the platform to share her journey and inspire others to take control of their health through proper nutrition and lifestyle choices. “Better lifestyle habits are built first within the home through access to clear information, compassionate guidance, and shared experiences,”the organizers emphasised. To maximise community impact, organizers announced that admission to the fair, medical consultations, and expert panel discussions will be completely free of charge.

Key features of this year’s edition include:
Exhibition booths will highlight local products and expertise, an element the founder considers vital for domestic economic and health resilience. Four days of free, on-site health screenings and consultations covering physical health, obesity prevention, and mental health.A newly introduced private, confidential space designed for direct one-on-one listening sessions and guidance with health specialists. A dedicated zone providing interactive, health-focused activities tailored specifically for children.
The event will tackle critical topics affecting families today, including healthy household eating, couples’ sexual health and STI prevention, domestic violence support, intergenerational wellness, and caring for children with special needs. This edition marks a significant partnership with Falocam, which has stepped in as the event’s Official Partner and Gold Sponsor. Speaking at the conference, Falocam Managing Director Momar Kane reaffirmed the company’s commitment to consumer health, emphasizing their dedication to high product quality standards and community-driven health initiatives. A major highlight of the fair will be the “Sabathon,” scheduled for Saturday, November 14, at 8:00 a.m.
