SOCAPALM Empowers Staff To Elevate Standards

Socapalm in recent years has adopted a modus operandi in believing that, a high-performing industry relies first and foremost on well-trained women and men capable of anticipating, acting, and sharing knowledge. Guided by this belief is the reason behind a continuous learning drive superior performance program, aimed at accelerating the capacity-building initiatives to empower employees across every level of the organization.

Operational excellence begins with internal mastery. On August 18, the General Management’s HSE Minute was dedicated to an impactful mini-training session on receiving service deliveries within Sage X3. Following earlier training on Purchase Request (PR) entries, this session marked another step forward in our continuous improvement journey.

By refining our teams’ skills in Sage X3, we are:

Ensuring reliable operational data across systems, Accelerating and simplifying invoice processing and Enhancing budget monitoring and financial oversight.

This ongoing training empowers our General Management teams, streamlines communication between production sites and headquarters, and collectively boosts efficiency, the focus is all about, “Know-how. Doing it well. Doing it together. SOCAPALM: Together, let’s raise our standards.” Because true sustainability begins in the fields, robust traceability has become a vital lever for understanding, supporting, and enhancing our agricultural supply chains.

Through hands-on field sessions and open dialogue, Socapalm teams are progressively embedding traceability into the core of daily operations. Our workers and specialists are mastering advanced data collection and analysis tools, focusing on:

Profiling village small holders and farmers, Gathering real-time field intelligence and plot identification and GPS mapping and agricultural data monitoring.

Beyond technology, effective traceability depends on the people who keep our plantations running every day. By combining modern digital tools with active listening and close collaboration on the ground, Socapalm reinforces its commitment to transparent, responsible, and sustainable tropical agriculture. Equipment reliability and operational continuity stem directly from skilled execution in the field. On June 10, in partnership with SKF and TMC, Socapalm organized an intensive technical training session for plantation technical managers across our sites. Participants sharpened their expertise across critical operational domains, including: Advanced industrial maintenance and equipment lifecycle management. Precision bearing assembly, disassembly, and proper lubrication. Equipment reconditioning, condition monitoring, and predictive maintenance Beyond technical upskilling, the session served as a powerful platform for mentorship and cross-generational knowledge sharing between seasoned managers and junior engineers. Every skill strengthened on the ground directly reinforces our equipment longevity, operational safety, and overall production site efficiency.
