On July 21, 2026, SOCAPALM Chief Executive Officer Frédéric Augé launched a working tour across the company’s plantations, marking the beginning of a strategic initiative aimed at rallying employees, strengthening operational efficiency, and sustainably improving performance across all production sites. The tour officially opened at the Mbambou plantation, where the CEO unveiled “Socapalm 2.0”, a new strategic framework built on teamwork, individual commitment, and collective performance.Addressing managers, department heads, supervisors, foremen and employee representatives, Frédéric Augé outlined an ambitious roadmap for the years ahead. The strategy sets a target of achieving an average yield of 4 tonnes per hectare by 2028, while waging a determined and sustained company-wide effort to reduce yield losses and operational inefficiencies. “Socapalm 2.0 is founded on the conviction that our collective success depends on the commitment of every employee,” Frédéric Augé said, calling on all teams to unite behind a shared ambition to build a stronger, more competitive and forward-looking company. The tour continued on July 22 at the Mbongo plantation, where the CEO met with local management and employee representatives to reinforce the principles underpinning the transformation.During the visit, he reiterated that Socapalm’s sustainable growth depends on the mobilisation of every team around a common vision.

This people-centred approach, rooted in listening, dialogue and accountability, is being progressively rolled out across all of the company’s plantations to strengthen a culture of collective performance, operational excellence and cohesion. The third leg of the tour took place in Edéa on July 24, where the CEO delivered the same call for commitment and shared responsibility. “Achieving our target of 4 tonnes per hectare by 2028 and winning the battle against losses requires the commitment of every one of us. Sustainable performance is built on accountability, teamwork and unwavering collective mobilisation.”The visit reaffirmed that Socapalm’s future rests on shared leadership, a strong field presence and continuous engagement with employees, reinforcing the company’s ambition to become an increasingly responsible, high-performing and future-focused organisation. The CEO’s tour will continue next week, reflecting Senior Management’s sustained commitment to maintaining a close presence across the plantations. Through this ongoing engagement, the Executive Management aims to provide employees with the guidance, resources and motivation they need to carry out their responsibilities effectively and contribute fully to the successful implementation of the “SOCAPALM 2.0” vision.
