Efforts to increase international visibility of the Cameroon coffee have received a booster as Beau Café a local coffee company has expressed its determination to ensure that the Cameroonian brand is known and sold worldwide. This was during an executive breakfast experience meeting that took place in Douala on Friday June 26.Co- Founder and CEO of Beau Café Madam Etonde Martin Ndoping explained that their objective is to build a strong “Made in Cameroon” coffee brand through quality assurance, traceability, and attractive branding. Coffee packages will feature information on their origin, production areas, farmers, and processing methods, allowing consumers worldwide to trace every product back to its source.She said they are currently documenting coffee farms, cooperatives, and other actors across the value chain to produce visual content that will support the international promotion of Cameroonian coffee.Initially focused on roasting coffee beans and supplying homes and businesses, she said Beau Café has now expanded its ambitions to exporting premium single-origin Cameroonian coffee to Europe. She said they are working closely with the National coaco and coffee board (NCCB) and follows international quality standards to ensure its products meet global market expectations.

From every indication they are already gaining new international momentum through a strategic partnership with Spanish company Incapto, as they seek to position Cameroonian coffee as a premium, traceable product on the global market.In effect, during the event, the honorary consul of Spain to Douala Mr. Emmanuel Ngansop reaffirmed Spain’s commitment to strengthening commercial ties with Cameroon. He explained that since taking office, the consulate has organized annual business forums aimed at connecting entrepreneurs from both countries and showcasing products from Spain’s different regions.According to the honorary consul, they provide guidance to Cameroonian entrepreneurs interested in doing business with Spain by facilitating contacts with potential partners and supporting viable business initiatives. He praised the founder of Beau Café as a symbol of determination and entrepreneurship. He added that the consulate have decided to support the initiative unconditionally because it represents innovation, perseverance, and the potential of Cameroon.One of the participants at the event Bryan Abunaw said the initiative was an important step toward increasing the international visibility of Cameroonian coffee while strengthening economic cooperation between Cameroon and Spain.He expressed confidence that the collaboration will open new markets for local producers, create greater value for Cameroon-grown coffee, and reinforce the country’s reputation as a producer of high-quality specialty coffee.
