Sikoum:Momentum Builds for the Ndolle City Megaproject

A new dawn for Cameroonian tourism is breaking as the foundation stone for Ndolle City set to be laid by April 28th,2026 to become one of the largest tourist complexes in West and Central Africa. Under the high patronage of the President of the Republic and the direct supervision of the Prime Minister, the project reached a critical milestone on April 7, 2026. Key stakeholders, including the Secretary General of the Ministry of Tourism and Leisure Marcel Ndioro à Mamoum, and the Promoter of Ndolle City and IMPEX Trading, Abraham Ngosso, met in Douala to finalize the roadmap for this ambitious venture during a meeting with littoral governor Samuel Ivaha Diboua.The project represents a rare synergy between state authority and private vision. Secretary General Marcel Ndioro à Mamoum reaffirmed the state’s total commitment:”The government and the State are fully supporting the implementation of this project. We have exercised significant diligence across financial, technical, administrative, and land-related matters to ensure its success.”This institutional backing is bolstered by the enthusiastic support of the local Sikoum population. An on-site verification mission recently confirmed that the community is ready to host the development, a factor the government considers a prerequisite for long-term stability.However,for Abraham Ngosso, promoter of Ndolle City, the project is more than just bricks and mortar; it is a cultural manifesto.

To showcase Cameroon’s national heritage, traditional cuisine, and local history to a global audience.An ambitious goal of attracting 5 million tourists annually, a figure poised to radically transform the regional economy.
