The World Dream Investment (WDI)program and its flagship Ndolle City initiative became a focal point of discussion yesterday March 26 at the MC14 Business Forum. Held at the Yaoundé Congress Center on the sidelines of the 14th WTO Ministerial Conference, the event highlights Cameroon’s rising profile in global trade and infrastructure development. However, the ceremony, presided over by Cameroon’s Minister of Commerce, drew an elite assembly of global leaders and industry titans, including:The Director General of the WTO.The Head of Access Bank Group. The UK Minister of State for Trade and Economic Security. The Director General of Regulations for MTN Group.Rebecca Enonchong, CEO and member of the International Chamber of Commerce. With over 4,800 delegates and 166 member-country representatives in attendance, the forum serves as a massive platform for the Ndolle City project to gain international visibility.

The Ndolle City and integrated WDI projects are backed by significant institutional support. Following a strategic recommendation from the Minister of Tourism and Leisure to the Minister of Commerce, the project has secured a privileged drawing right of $10.7 billion (approximately XAF 6,500 billion). Furthermore, this monumental funding was granted by His Excellency President Paul Biya, with robust governmental support under the supervision of Prime Minister Chief Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute. This investment underscores the state’s commitment to transforming the Ndolle City vision into a cornerstone of Cameroon’s modern economy.
