
Cameroon and Turkiye Business community have reaffirmed commitment to do business that will benefit both Nations. This was during a B2B Turkiye Cameroon Forum that took place in Douala on February 4 . The event that Saw the governor of the Littoral region representing the minister of Trade and Commerce and the Turkish ambassador to Cameroon was a sector-focused business platform that brought together Turkish manufacturers and exporters in the electricity and electronics industries with Cameroonian decision-makers from the public and private sectors. The Forum facilitated structured business dialogue, encourage industrial partnerships, and support concrete trade outcomes aligned with Cameroon’s development priorities and Turkiyes export capabilities.The Forum is organized in collaboration with the Istanbul Electrical and Electronics Exporters’ Association, a semi-governmental institution operating under the authority of the Ministry of Trade of TurkiyeDuring the B2B meeting in Douala the Turkish ambassador to Cameroon His Excellency Volkan Oskiper expresses interest about working with Cameroonian authorities and emphasizes the importance of collaboration. He added that the presence of Turkish representatives in Cameroon highlights the country’s economic potential. Thus calling on business community from both countries to make good use of the forum .

On his part the governor of the Littoral region Samuel Dieudonné Ivaha Diboa while representing the minister of state emphasized that Cameroon has great potential still to be exploited. He remarked that Cameroon is open for business and called on the Turkish business community not to hesitate to invest in Cameroon. Meanwhile the Head of the Turkish business delegation Devrim Eroglu said they were 15 different business companies from Turkiye and their exhibition stands will serve as a platform for Cameroonian businesses to exploit. He said some of the companies were dealers in power generation and energy systems, electrical cables and grid infrastructure, Industrial electronics and components, lighting technologies and electrical equipment, Household and commercial electrical appliances.
