The Enterprises Upgrading Office has empowered more experts to assist companies.

Assisting companies in carrying out their upgrade plan and monitoring their performance as well as implementing the version of the 2018 plan code name ISO 22 000 and 45 001, was the object of a five day training workshop that took place in Douala from the 27 to the 31 of January 2020. For five days, over 40 experts received more knowledge on how to help companies upgrade their business plan and evaluate their performances.
The five day workshop organised by the Enterprises Upgrading Office known by its French acronym BMN was also aimed at equipping participants technically who will in turn train many more companies on the field.
While handing over certificates to the participants on Friday January 31, 2020 the Director of the National Upgrading Office madam Chantal Elombat Mbedey said they needed to train more experts so that work will be effective on the field. She said before now very few people were available to train companies ,but with the just ended training she was confident that more experts will be available to cover the entire country. She added that the experts will equally assist companies in achieving their objectives both internally and externally and will equipped their staff with specific methodological tools to face the challenges in the business world.
One of the participants, Biada Jean Marie revealed that knowledge gained during the training will enable them evaluate the companies that they will be upgrading. We are also going out to evaluate how the convention signed by the BMN and the different companies are been implemented.
As a reminded, the Enterprises Upgrading Office- BMN was created in 2011 under the technical supervision of the Ministry of Economy Planning and Regional Development- MINEPAT.
It has as mission the Implementation of government policy in support of upgrading and restructuring of industrial enterprises in Cameroon.
